She can play outside back, center back, and forward at a high level. She is a competitive player who shines in any role. She looked great at center back for her club team during the ECNL playoffs over the summer. She’s been one of the best scorers in New York at the high school level when playing forward. The logical guess is probably right wing back at the top level for Elia, but she is very good at organizing her teammates when she plays in the center so the opportunity is there too. Wherever she ends up, she will be making winning plays for her team.
