A member of the Girls Academy 2005/2006 ID roster and a recent call-up to the United States Girls U16 Youth National Team, Hess is one of the top forwards in her age group. Her speed and first touch make her very difficult for defenders to break down. She is very comfortable at taking shots from both long distance and close range and can deliver crisp passes to her teammates on the counter-attack.
