Rice’s Oregon Surf also went undefeated over the weekend, with two wins and one loss. She did a great job in her team’s last match, a 1-1 tie with Classics Elite on Monday, in which their opponents controlled possession and fired multiple shots on target – she was only beaten in a set piece, where there wasn’t much she could have done. Rice displayed great technical skills between the posts to make stops and was also very intelligent and agile every time she had to leave her spot to catch long passes behind the backline.
