Every time I watch the Solar 2012 squad, I come away with a new way of appreciating Peeders’ game. She’s a competitive center back who never quits on a play. The success of the Solar team has been a result of the determination and effort that Peeders brings in every game. Her quality has earned her attention from US Soccer scouts, and that should continue to be the case as she looks to be among the best of the best from Texas in the 2012 age group. She’s excellent at using her body to get in front of the attacker. While attacking players are typically praised for knowing how to draw fouls, Peeders uses a lot of the same tactics successfully.
