Ghonda is often Memorial’s most dangerous offensive player with her amazing combination of physical and technical skills. She typically plays the striker role, but can be used on both flanks or in an attacking midfielder role as well. Her game itself is also very versatile as Ghonda can be a threat in a variety of ways – she’s really good at playing with her back to the goal and also makes some dangerous runs on and off the ball. Memorial’s athletic forward was the only player in her team to threaten Stratford’s defense during the entire match with some dangerous runs and by drawing fouls in the attacking half. Ghonda had some physical battles with center back Ellie Stephenson and created some good chances from these plays. She circulated everywhere on Memorial’s final third, playing up top, on both flanks and even on a deeper position as she attempted to find alternatives to the team’s offensive struggles. She was unlucky to have one of her shots hit the crossbar during the first half.

Originally a forward, Ghonda spent most of the match playing in the center of Memorial’s three-player backline. She was nothing short of excellent in the position, using her pace and athleticism to cover the other defenders and her skill on the ball to build from the back. Ghonda also had some dangerous runs upfield, causing some confusion among Friendswood’s midfielders and defenders. She spent some time playing in her original striker role and didn’t need much to score a goal from a corner kick and deliver an assist.
