Ghonda made a tremendous impact on Memorial’s offense with her diversified skills. She can play anywhere on the frontline and is extremely athletic, having a rare combination of physical strength and pace. The forward can hurt defenses in several different ways, operating as a target for her teammates to get on the end of long passes, using her pace to beat opponents on the flank or playing up top and finishing chances inside the penalty box. Ghonda also has good vision on the final third and can create for her teammates as well.

Ghonda is often Memorial’s most dangerous offensive player with her amazing combination of physical and technical skills. She typically plays the striker role, but can be used on both flanks or in an attacking midfielder role as well. Her game itself is also very versatile as Ghonda can be a threat in a variety of ways – she’s really good at playing with her back to the goal and also makes some dangerous runs on and off the ball. An excellent finisher, she can also dribble in tight spaces and finds good passes to her teammates in the final third.

Memorial’s athletic forward was the only player in her team to threaten Stratford’s defense during the entire match with some dangerous runs and by drawing fouls in the attacking half. Ghonda had some physical battles with center back Ellie Stephenson and created some good chances from these plays. She circulated everywhere on Memorial’s final third, playing up top, on both flanks and even on a deeper position as she attempted to find alternatives to the team’s offensive struggles. She was unlucky to have one of her shots hit the crossbar during the first half.

After establishing herself as one of the most intriguing attackers in the Houston area, Ghonda is playing center back this season, displaying impressive versatility. The same physical tools that help her thrive up top also make of her a solid defender as she has more than enough pace to cover her teammates and also displays impeccable positioning. She’s very clean and calm in possession, playing a big role in the team’s buildup play, and also creates some chances on offense by making runs with the ball from back.

After developing a strong reputation playing as a forward, Ghonda played in the center of Memorial’s backline at the I-10 Shootout and did an excellent job there. Her pace and athleticism made of her a great fit for her role as, playing in the middle of the team’s back three, she was always in a position to cover the other defenders on the team. Ghonda’s quality on the ball also proved to be an interesting asset for the Mustangs as they displayed a great ability to build from the back. She also made some strong forward runs that disorganized their opponents.

Originally a forward, Ghonda spent most of the match playing in the center of Memorial’s three-player backline. She was nothing short of excellent in the position, using her pace and athleticism to cover the other defenders and her skill on the ball to build from the back. Ghonda also had some dangerous runs upfield, causing some confusion among Friendswood’s midfielders and defenders. She spent some time playing in her original striker role and didn’t need much to score a goal from a corner kick and deliver an assist.
