Medina is a tough-as-nails midfielder on the NVA 09 ECNL team. She is a defensive-minded player with an outstanding work ethic and a nose for the tackle. Medina impressed me during the ECNL postseason as she consistently made the right play and always came away with the ball in a tackle. She uses her body well and keeps great balance. She does well in getting the ball off her feet quickly too. She is finds the outlet and springs the attack. Medina’s terrific play earned a spot on the ECNL All-Conference First Team for the Mid-Atlantic U15 team.
