Xavier does a great job recruiting and this one is no different. Kownaki is a big time defender with two great feet and dominates the air. She’s a Northern Virginia Alliance standout. It is difficult for center backs to start in year 1 at the division 1 level so I think she may redshirt or have limited minutes. But by year 2 she should be a big time contributor moving forward.
