Bailey was a stud for Sting, leading their backline with tremendous efficiency and helping the team secure the win and the clean sheet. A tall and physical defender, she was nearly perfect when defending the penalty box, winning every aerial duel she was involved and closing out the space in the center with great efficiency. Bailey also displayed good mobility and did a good job defending in space when she had to. The center back was also calm and efficient when in possession, helping initiate some offensive plays with long balls and passes behind Challenge’s backline. She appeared well inside the penalty box and scored the team’s first goal in one of those plays, paving the way for Sting’s victory.

Bailey is a center back on the Sting Dallas Royal 08 ECNL team. She is right footed and can play either center back position in the traditional back four. Bailey’s competitive drive immediately stands out from her game. She plays at full ferocity from the opening whistle. She is dominant in aerial duels and shows good technique in 1v1 defensive battles. She is tough in the tackle and fearless in throwing her body in front of shots. On the ball, she plays with her head up and looks to spring the attack. She is good on the dribble and can beat the press with the ball at her feet. Bailey is a tenacious defender who has impressed at college ID camps this summer, and should be a top uncommitted defender to watch during the season.
