Thomson had a solid shift in midfield when her team Cosmos FC Academy 07G USC TX RL lost 2-1 to Legends FC San Bernardino G07. She did a good job of protecting the team’s backline from her defensive midfielder position and used her physical tools to win duels in the middle. Thomson was also very active and efficient on the ball, using her skilled left foot to distribute the game well and find teammates in good spots in the final third. The midfielder also had a strong presence in the attacking half, contributing to her team’s playmaking, getting into the penalty box to finish chances, and using her size to be a threat in the air in set pieces.
