About Alan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Strong vocal leadership and communication on the field. Excellent technical ability and composure under pressure. Accurate long balls that help switch play effectively. Strong leadership qualities; takes charge and organizes teammates well. Good aggression and calmness when in possession. Solid defensive presence, calm under pressure and reliable player to win his duels.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I take pride in my defending and I always give 110% no matter up 5-0 or down 5-0. I love football with my whole heart and its my passion.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a part time ref and I help out with reffing when I am needed, I also mentor and tutor aspiring football players who need help getting better by analyzing film with them. I am involved in my local Feeding San Diego which helps the less fortunate.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through playing center back and organizing my team during high-pressure games. Training at a high level has also taught me discipline and responsibility. I show mentorship by helping train and guide younger players 2011 and down.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I’ve faced several significant challenges. I’ve had difficult classes that push me academically and forced me to learn better study habits and time management. I also went through a intense injury, but I was able to make a full recovery through hard work and staying disciplined. Also, I was rejected from my first trial, but I didn't quit, I improved my game and as a result I got 4 more trials

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a highly competitive college with strong academics and a top-level athletic environment. I want a place that challenges me both in the classroom and on the field, with strong coaching, great facilities, and a winning culture. I’m also looking for a campus with good resources, support systems, and a community where I can grow as both a student and a athlete.
