About Alex

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

Superb shot-stopper with excellent footwork and distribution. Comfortable playing out of the back with accurate passing.

What are you working to improve right now?

Continuing to improve my communication and command of the box, while becoming quicker and more consistent with my decision-making.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a college program where I can grow as a goalkeeper, student, and person. Having coaches I can trust, who believe in me and support my development, is very important to me. I want to be part of a competitive, positive team culture where players work hard, support each other, and are challenged. I’m looking for a school that supports my future career and academic goals.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

Outside of soccer, I enjoy playing competitive rugby, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and staying involved in school. I love being active, competing, and trying new things.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

In the future, I would like to explore becoming a nurse, EMT, or first responder because I enjoy helping others and want a career where I can make a difference in people’s lives. I enjoy challenging myself both academically and athletically and learning how to stay calm, focused, and confident under pressure.
