About Alexis

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay focuses on reading visual cues, distributing accurately, communicating effectively, and making quick decisions. My style also focuses on the agility of my hands and feet, and being correctly positioned at all times.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am mentally strong, disciplined, positive, and persevere in the face of adversity. My personality could be described as fun, quick-witted, hardworking, dedicated, and focused.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm in Athletes For Christ, Hope for Heros, and baking club at my high school, as well as a U.S. Soccer Federation Certified Referee. Non-Sport awards: 1st Place Spelling Bee Winner, President's Education Award Program (Outstanding Academic Excellence), St. Mary's Preparatory High School Academic Honors Summa Cum Laude, Catholic High School League Member of the Scholastic All Catholic Team

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed the aforementioned qualities through my active involvement in mentoring/coaching younger inter-club age groups and community service work. In addition, I am inclusive through hosting pre-season team meet and greet parties to build team camaraderie.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've had two major injuries in the past several years which I've worked hard to overcome. An avulsion fracture in my hip required a six month recovery period and an ankle injury which had a three month total recovery period. The challenge wasn't the injuries, but both required extreme determination to get my starting spot back, and that was the most difficult part.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with high academic standards with a pre-med program, supporting athletic program, and an environment that embraces student-athletes.
