Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I'm very creative in my play. I like to be challenged by playing with stronger, more competitive players. I played on adult street soccer teams when I was around 11 years old. I love doing headers. My style of play is aggressive and I've been told I'm fun to watch. I play anywhere on the field and am considered a utility player. I play full games while being moved where needed.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have a lot of energy. I've been called Energizer Bunny because when others begin to get tired, I feel more energized. I'm positive and like to support others on the field. My mentality is that we are always learning, whether it be a win or a loss. There is always room to grow, but I guarantee I will give my best and be open to constructive criticism.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I've been in Girl Scouts since I was much younger. I'm still in the same troop. I've received a presidential award for grades, was in the GATE program, student of the month in PE and interviewed then was selected for student leadership. PE and Math are my favorite subjects. I like to problem solve.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
We win as a team and lose as a team. I support my team through both the good and bad of the games. I'm a very hard worker. I practice how I play and my energy level is brought to every practice just as it is in the games. I like to help others and watch them succeed. I'm on several soccer teams and very comfortable on the field.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I was pretty much goalie since 3 yrs old and was recruited to competitive soccer as a field player and goalie around 9. My teammates kept growing and I became one of the smallest on the team. I was no longer used as goalie because of my height, but I put a lot of work in as a field player. I did extra trainings and learned to overcome my opponents with skill. I don't give up.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm looking for a Division 1 college that offers architecture as a major. I like both interior and exterior architectural design. I'm hoping to join a highly competitive soccer program and eventually play professional soccer domestically or internationally in the future.
