Expert Analysis
JR Eskilson | Prep Soccer Scout
Young is an outside back on the Internationals 09 ECNL RL team. She also plays for Copley High School. She is versatile and can play on the wing as well. She is listed as five-foot-five on her player profile, but she appears to be taller based on recent game film. She’s an excellent on-ball defender who moves her feet well laterally. She could be more aggressive in the tackle and use her strength to win possession of the ball. Young has shown glimpses to suggest she is one of the top defenders in the state in this class.
