Currently competing on the international stage with Israel, this midfielder is a consistent threat in central areas. She uses close control, dribbling ability, and awareness to break down defensive lines. Comfortable receiving under pressure, she can turn away from opponents and change direction to create separation. She also carries the ball into dangerous areas, making her a key part of the attack. Rather than simply retaining possession, she looks to penetrate through midfield. She can draw defenders out of position and create openings for herself and her teammates. Her distribution allows her to connect play and find runners in advanced positions. While her ability to beat players off the dribble makes her difficult to contain in one-on-one situations. Gita’s combination of ball progression, creativity and attacking intent gives her the tools to influence the game and create problems for opposing defenses.

Gita is a midfielder on the Concorde Fire Platinum 2011 ECNL team. She has been part of US Soccer Talent ID events in the past.

The aspect of Gita’s game that sets her apart from her peers is her impressive balance and skill. She is capable of taking on multiple defenders with her close control of the ball, ability to cut sharply, and body control/strength.

She has scored some wonderful goals this season in the ECNL. She’s a handful for the opposition to try to stop and has shown her elite quality in the Southeast Conference.
