About Amelia

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength is my speed and ability to attack space behind the defense. It shows up in my pressing, my runs off the back line, and my ability to turn opportunities into chances quickly. I’m also comfortable with either foot, which makes me harder to predict. I train consistently to build the endurance to keep pressing, making runs, and playing with intensity late in the game.

What are you working to improve right now?

I’m working on becoming more complete in the final third by improving my movement off the ball, first touch under pressure, and my decision making about when to shoot, combine, or create for a teammate. I want my speed to be one part of my game, not the only thing that makes me dangerous.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a competitive program that will challenge me and continue developing me as both a player and a person. I want honest coaches, teammates who hold one another accountable, a strong team culture, and a school where I can succeed academically.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I’m positive, coachable, and serious about improving. I care about my teammates, enjoy making people laugh, and try and lead through my effort and attitude. I understand that how I represent my teammates and school off the field matters

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

Im still exploring exactly what I want to study, but I’m interested in a career that allows me to work with people, continue learning, and make a positive impact. I’m looking forward to discovering more about my strengths and interests throughout high school.

Kansas City Legends was promoted to the top tier of the Girls Academy for the 2026/2027 season. This means that quite a few of the players will get a ton of additional exposure during the upcoming campaign.

Legends kicked off their season with an unbeaten opening weekend (1-0-1). Nerius stood out from game film. She is a blistering pace forward with track speed. She can race past defenders with her graceful running. Nerius is quick to get off a shot. She’s right footed, but good with either foot. She is good in her role as a center forward. The elite pace makes her a top prospect in this class.
