She proves her value on both sides of the pitch, executing free kicks out of the back line with composure and precision. On top of that, her vision and awareness allow her to see the net, and her off-the-ball movement. This often leads her into scoring positions, adding another layer to her team’s attack. Throughout post season, Hubbard’s driven mentality was on full display. Not only did she compete in the ECNL-RL playoffs, but she also stepped up as a guest player for ECNL nationals. With her combination of defensive skill, attacking presence, and relentless mindset, it’s no surprise she earned All-Region honors this season.

With a physical profile, and key mental attributes, there is an ability to maximize defensive situations to limit incoming forces and help in the next phase. The defensive skills of tackling cleanly, winning duels as needed, and sticking to markers ensures possession is won smoothly, and it is continued in a seamless manner. The mobility presence and the intuition to react the right way are key skills for the heart of defense.
