Expert Analysis
Nikolai Littleton | Prep Soccer Scout
Staying close to home seems to be like a more popular thing for this generation and the Chicago Inter standout is doing just that headed to De Paul University. She is a very opportunistic winger who takes her chances at a high percentage. I think she can contribute right away coming off the bench early in her career and starting later in her career.
Scout Grade: A

Lambert is absolutely tough as nails and is a force on the outside as a No. 11. Left-footed all the way, that leg is special as she can score with power, score with precision and she really plays a nice ball, be it on a cross or playing a ball back on the ground. She’s got good pace and toughness as she will challenge defenders and her ability to carry the ball with pressure is impressive.

Playing up top, Lambert was the main target of most of Chicago Inter’s offensive plays. She offered the team the possibility of playing long at times because of her ability to get on the end of long passes and control them. Lambert had a very strong presence inside the penalty box and did a very good job with her movement off the ball, often getting in good spots to finish chances. She also displayed the ability to drop deeper and engage in combination plays with her teammates.

Lambert is a left winger on the Chicago Inter 09 ECNL team. She is an excellent attacker. Good vision, skillful on the ball, and pace to create separation from defenders. Lambert has the skillset to be a top player in the region for her position. She does show a strong preference to her left foot but she is so good with her left foot that defenders still have a lot of trouble stopping her. She hits a wonderful cross and can finish from within 30 yards with her ball-striking ability. Lambert’s game-breaking ability from the wing is rare in this class and she’s shown that this season in the ECNL. The aspect of her game that stands out from her peers is her conviction. When she receives the ball, she’s assured of her next week. There’s rarely any hesitation in her game. When the opportunity is on, she gets down hill in a hurry, and that can be extremely difficult to defend.
