A new face with Virginia Development Academy (VDA) G07 this season, Lozada and her teammates will battle Bethesda SC, Alabama FC and CESA Liberty this week in Tennessee. A right-footed left back, she’s very dangerous when she brings the ball inside and opens up the field to connect passes or finish from distance, two things she’s really good at. Lozada is very well-versed offensively and can hurt teams by getting to the end line to make crosses or by progressing through the central area with quick combination plays. She also produces well on defense, using her physicality to win balls and playing hard.

Lozada was a stud playing on the left side of Richmond United 07’s defense. A very physical player, she used her strength and great positioning to stop plays and was very impactful on the offensive side of the game too against the Colorado Rapids 07. Lozada made good runs from the left and combined well with her teammates to create chances. A right-footed fullback playing on the left, she was solid with her movement and often brought the ball inside to be in a better position to connect passes and make plays.

A fullback with excellent physical tools, Lozada heavily impacted the game from the left. She was very solid defensively, shutting down every Colorado Rapids’ attempt from that side and very active and productive offensively. Lozano has great pace and is very skilled on the ball and used that to combine with forward Brielle Johnston and create chances on the left. A right-footed left back, she did a great job of bringing the ball inside and generating more space for her to finish or pass.
