Avery is a phenomenal midfield talent, characterized by her aggressive progression. She is a player with the mentality that the play must progress by any means necessary. Her passing is clinical, being both precise and effective. Every one of her passes is played with purpose, rarely making a back or side pass. One of my personal favorite attributes is her direct and quick dribbling. She’ll drive straight through the heart of the opposition with great speed. In doing so, she leaves defenders behind her while opening spaces for her to exploit. Here, she demonstrates another great attribute in her shooting. With a very gifted left foot, she’ll blast the ball past the keeper wonderfully. These shots prove nearly impossible for the keeper to save, making her a goalscoring threat from behind the attack.

I think there is a pretty good argument to be made that Fisher is the best left footed midfielder in the 2026 class in the country. Fisher is the star of the Wilmington Hammerheads 08 ECNL team. She was named the ECNL Mid-Atlantic Player of the Year for the U15 age group last season. She has been equally as good this season. There are times when the game (at the youth level) looks too easy for her. She sees the next pass early on and makes the correct read on the ball. She is often providing the decisive action in the final third to score or assist on a goal. She is excellent on set pieces and provides consistent delivery in dead ball situations. Fisher fits the bill as player who is making an impact at a high level currently and still has a ton of potential.
