Benson previously played for Marin FC in the ECNL. She is playing for Lamorinda SC 09 in the Girls Academy this season. She is a midfielder/forward who is also part of the Cal North ODP team. Her future for the collegiate level is the midfield. She’s been an effective scorer in recent games at the GA level. That said, her skills translate well as a box-to-box midfielder. The energy, effort, and tactical brilliance will all serve her well in a center midfield role.
