About Banks
Expert Analysis
James Clark | Prep Soccer Scout
Denu was a playmaker in the middle for Rockford, attacking every gap he saw and springing teammates left right and center. It helped that there was a bit more room in the middle of the park with Utah down to 10, but he was every bit as engaging before their red card as well, so there’s nothing that suggests it wouldn’t have continued.

Banks sealed the win over World Class with a two-goal performance to clinch the spot in Richmond for his side. The tall attacking midfielder impressed outside of the goals he scored. He has good close control of the ball and did well in opening his body away from pressure when receiving the ball. Denu’s technical qualities stem for a good first touch and a smart approach to his decision-making in possession. I thought the Rockford midfield trio as a whole was a strong point of the side.
