Stockton Cargo opened their season with a 1-1 tie against the Monterrey Bay Sirens with Mott starting in goal. Mott has great distribution and a solid shot stopper. As a goalkeeper starting at this level, at her age is an excellent accomplishment. If she continues to get reps in this environment her stock will rise rapidly.

Mott is playing a lot of soccer right now between three teams. The Northern California goalkeeper has also earned a spot on the Stockton Cargo in the USL-W. She appeared in the second game of the young season for the squad. Most of the roster is local talent who is playing college soccer or recently graduated college so it’s a good challenge for Mott. She’s been consistently good this season for Stanislaus in the ECNL-RL. Her footwork in distribution is among the best in this class. She can get crowded a bit on corner kick and needs to do a better job commanding her space near the goal. Mott is another talented goalkeeper in this class who has a bright future.
