About Braxton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play soccer with a possession-based mindset. I am a versatile player who dominates box-to-box, and also excels at CAM and holding mid, while playing center back if needed. I am a player’s player, who not only leads on the field, but encourages my teammates as well. I have high game IQ and an unrelenting work ethic.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a calm and composed player on the field. I lead with my skills and help direct my teammates when needed. I am unselfish and always willing to set up teammates when they are open. I encourage my teammates on and off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in the National Honor Society. I did track and field my freshman year (400m/200m). I am the fishing club and YKnotMentality.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have always been skilled with teamwork. I have increased my leadership skills, including being more vocal on the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have had 5 different club coaches in 5 years at the same club. I have seen the positive in this, as I have learned different styles of play.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to all locations and types of colleges. I appreciate colleges with a religious focus, but am also open to public colleges. I want a school with a good business program. I would like a program which will allow me to play soccer as long as possible.
