Any opportunity to highlight how brilliant a talent Brielle is is very much welcomed. As I’ve said before, she is the best striker at the youth level I’ve seen in the state. NC State has made a fantastic decision in welcoming her to their program. Players like her are rare to come by, and are wonderful to watch grow. She’s the intelligent, determined, and composed stalwart up top that every team wants to see. Though the transition from youth soccer to college soccer might be rough, Brielle has the talent to deal with that transition easily.

Brielle is hands-down one of the most promising strikers I have seen across the state, across any age group. Her most defining attribute is her unbelievable physicality. The way she jostles her markers off of her is spectacular to watch, all while she makes it look simple. It isn’t just a one-time thing either. She constantly bullies defenders off the ball, particularly targeting center-backs. When she wins possession of the ball, she drives forward with it brilliantly. She uses her physique to shield defenders away from it while also opening up more space for her to shoot. When she shoots, she does so with remarkable power. She’s allergic to scoring normal goals, which makes her prolific nature even more fun to watch.

Archer was a breakout star from the ECNL National Event in Phoenix. Fresh off being named to the ECNL First Team All-Conference Mid-Atlantic last season, the center forward for the Wilmington Hammerheads 09 ECNL team made a statement with her dominant offensive display. She has the most potential of any player on this list. She has the strength, pace, and skill to take over the game at any moment. She still takes too many touches on the ball – she gets away with it now because she can easily hold off defenders, but it’s part of her game that needs to improve to be an immediate impact No. 9 at a top college.
