About Cal

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style has been described as creative, up-tempo and unselfish. I am able to and often play the entire game without substitution.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to win! Whether I am scoring or playing a role as the team has success - it is the success part that motivates me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

As a freshman, I was fortunate enough to be a three-sport letter winner as well as a member of my school's band. I have been academically successful and have made the High honor roll each quarter of my high school career and was recognized by the WBCA (basketball) for Academic All-state my freshman season.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Athletics as a whole have taught me the life lessons of: leading and being part of a team, learning how to win with grace and lose with dignity, how to deal with adversity and how to manage time.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had a serious labrum tear that occurred during the High School basketball season as a freshman. I played the remainder of the season and the entire spring season of golf and most of the AAU season with a brace but had to have surgery at the end of the school year. After 4 months of recovery - I look forward to returning in the next 2-3 weeks!

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will help me continue to develop as well-rounded person, an athlete and as a future leader in a business-related field.
