About Callie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play as both a right back and a winger, which gives me a unique perspective on the game. At right back, I focus on defending smartly — staying tight to my opponent, reading the game, and stopping attacks before they develop. I’m strong in 1v1 situations, but I also like to support the attack by overlapping and creating width when my team has the ball. My pace allows me to recover quickly.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a determined and hardworking player who never shies away from a challenge. I stay focused on my goals, keep a positive attitude, and trust the process, even when things don’t go my way. On and off the pitch, I’m a team player ,supportive, disciplined, and committed to improving myself and those around me. I thrive in environments where hard work, resilience, and a strong sense of team culture.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of soccer, I’m actively involved in my school and community. I serve as Junior Class President and am a member of the National Honor Society, which allows me to contribute to school leadership and academic excellence.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m passionate about giving back to my community through volunteering. I help out regularly at local food pantries, where I assist with organizing donations and distributing food to families in need. I also volunteer through my church, supporting events and programs that help bring people together and provide support to those less fortunate. These experiences have taught me the value.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in my soccer journey was an MPFL injury when I was 12 years old. It was a tough time , being sidelined and watching others play while I focused on recovery tested my patience and determination. But I committed myself to rehabbing fully, strengthening not just my knee but my mental resilience as well. That experience taught me the value of discipline.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will continue to challenge me to grow both on and off the pitch. I want a program that pushes me to be a better player through hard work, discipline, and teamwork, while also supporting my development academically. I thrive in environments where there’s a strong sense of family and team culture, where players and coaches support each other and work together.
