Camden is a fantastic goalkeeper who leads her team from the back with her performances. A confident goalkeeper, she makes it a point to assert her dominance in her box. She often comes off her line to regain possession as well. She’s clearly confident and that affects the opposing attacker mentally. If they find themselves with a goalscoring opportunity, she does not buckle under the pressure. She closes down spaces that many other goalkeepers her age don’t protect nearly as well as she does. When it comes to distribution, she plays short passes very effectively. Off of goal kicks or if she regains possession, she plays it out to her defenders with ease so that they start plays.

Markey is a goalkeeper on the NC Fusion 08 ECNL team. She was part of the ECNL Conference Cup event over the summer. She is an athletic shot-stopper with quick reflexes and good hands. She’s competed against the best at the ECNL Conference Cup and showed she can stand out from that crowd. She’s very good on low shots with her reflexes and footwork. Markey has put together some impressive performances in goal in the past year. 

The goalkeeper from NC Fusion already has some experience playing against older competition at the U19 and U20 level. The sure hands and leadership qualities should be on full display at this event. Markey’s footwork is excellent and a point that other goalkeepers should watch on her highlight reel. She adjusts quickly and has the strong base to always be ready to make an attempt at a save or athletic stance to shift approach on a redirection. The excellent technique on the footwork also shows when the ball is at her feet. She rarely gets crossed up and can be a weapon in possession with her distribution. The other goalkeeper for the Mid-Atlantic team is a highly regarded 2025 recruit so this will be a good test for Markey in the training against a top level prospect.
