Palafox is a midfielder/forward on the Utah Celtic 09 GA Team. She is also part of the US Women’s Youth National Team. She was All-State 6A Second Team for her play with Copper Hills.
She is listed as a forward on the US Youth National Team roster. She is an elite finisher so the positional classification makes sense. However, I view her more of an attacking midfielder for the long-term in the game. There is an element to her game that reminds me a lot of Diego Luna as a youth player.
Palafox strikes the ball better than pretty much any player in this class. She is often the target of multiple players at the club level, but still finds ways to impact the game. She is going to continue to be the main focus of the defense as her profile rises, and she will continue to advance and develop other ways she can beat the opposition.
