About Camilla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play as the outside center back in a 3-5-2, which means I live in the gray area: part center back, part fullback, part deep playmaker. It’s a role that demands intelligence, timing, and trust from the rest of the back line. With the ball, I’m confident. I don’t just recycle possession—I break lines. I can carry into midfield if I see daylight or ping a diagonal. My passing is always deliberate.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m not just here to defend—I’m here to anticipate. My mindset is about balance: aggressive when I need to be, patient when it matters. I’m the safety net when others bomb forward, the first line of attack when we switch play. I help the system breathe. Quietly, efficiently, and always with intent.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

DECA Student Leadership Team Coaching Apprentice for Coerver Coaching Received 9th Grade Health Excellence Underclassman Award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a proud member of my high school Student Leadership Team which is helping me grow as a voice along with my talented peers. It's a great opportunity to listen to diverse views while also seeing how things can get accomplished in a room of incredibly talented people who may not always agree. Soccer has imbedded a teamwork mentality in me where nobody is bigger than the club and I embrace that.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Like many athletes, I have had to work through injuries and injury setbacks. It's hard to sit on the bench and go to PT as recovery never happens fast enough. Still, it's good to know that after that time on the sidelines, skills do 'not evaporate and teams do not give up on you, so there is a silver lining in the downtime.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a top academic institution that will challenge me to be the best student and future professional possible. I am seeking a Coach that will help develop me as a student/athlete and a team that wants to compete for championships!
