A physical center back who thrives at intercepting challenges and thwarting opposing attacks. Camryn excels at one-on-one defending and making timely challenges and winning the ball back when making those tackles. A physical presence in the air as well, Camryn made lots of headed clearances and wins around the box on corners and other set piece opportunities. Camryn also possesses some nice passing around the back, holding possession for her team and spreading the ball around to her teammates.

Savig was phenomenal in securing a draw against heavily favored and last year National Semifinalist’s De Anza Force. The center back was very calm on the ball and broke Force’s tough press a number of times. She flew around defensively and made a ton of plays that neutralized De Anza’s stacked offense. A last minute PK was the only thing that kept Placer away from an unlikely win.
