She can line up as a center back and patrol the field in a way that closes off the opposition from having a chance to break pressure thanks to her speed and anticipation. She can step up to the midfield and take over the game with her passing. Or she can play on the wing and be a two-way player that has all of the tools to score goals as well as stop the top winger on the opposition. Schlegel has been excellent at the high school level through the first part of the season. She is thriving in a wide role and continues to impress scouts with her attacking qualities.
