Capable of playing anywhere across the backline, Anderson is mostly used at center back for the Dallas Texans Academy. The most interesting aspect of his defensive game is how well he times each of his defensive actions, which not only increases their efficiency, but also limits the number of fouls he makes. Anderson has a very high soccer IQ and is often seen stepping outside of his position to cover his teammates. Because of his pace, the defender can handle quicker attackers extremely well and recover on time when he’s beaten. He’s also solid in possession, hitting passes with patience and intelligence out of the back.
