Bond is a midfielder/forward on the STLDA 2011 Girls Academy team. She has been part of the US Soccer Youth National Team program in the 2011 age group.
She is a do-everything type of player. Bond can play in a variety of roles, but the box-to-box midfielder spot could be her best. She has the engine for the nonstop responsibilities of that position. She’s clearly a student of the game. She gets to the right spots, she anticipates how to help her team. She has an elevated tactical appreciation of the game.
Bond could be more authoritative defensively. She tends to play with mentality of forcing the opponent backward, but there are times when it appears she could be more physical in duels and win more tackles in the open field. It’s going to unlock her game when she adds that physical component and willingness to impose her mark on the game consistently.
Bond has vision and skill. She creates chances for her team with her excellent passing. She’s got a great right foot and the quality to get shots on goal from key spots. She has the potential to be the top midfielder in the class.
