About Chloe

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a versatile fullback, who is quick and skilled on the ball. I am strong both defensively and offensively. I engage in tackles, quickly track back by using my speed, block shots, and I am able to predict passes to intercept them. Offensively, I also make overlapping runs forward, cross the ball into the box, and can play through the midfield to switch the point of attack.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try to be a leader to my team, both on and off the field. I encourage my teammates to be their very best and communicate with them if they’re doing something wrong. My mentality is to lead by example. I always work hard and put in extra effort in order to become the best version of myself as both a player and a person.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I earned the principal's honor roll all 3 years of middle school for maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I also earned the “Ownership Award” at my middle school. I am currently involved in WSB (a leadership class at my high school, which aims to make the school a fun place for everyone). I have also participated and volunteered at Rise Soccer training and camps for younger kids the past few years.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership by serving as a role model for my teammates and other children I have coached at camps for community service. This helped me to develop leadership skills because I stepped up to coach them. I take the initiative in explaining drills to my teammates and leading warm-ups and stretching. I've developed teamwork by working towards common goals with my teammates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A significant challenge I faced was overcoming my father passing away. 

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a great soccer and academic program because both are very important to me. I would love to keep pursuing my love for soccer and working to become better in the sport I love, while also expanding my horizon of knowledge.
