About Chloe

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a versatile fullback, who is quick and skilled on the ball. I’m strong both defensively and offensively. I engage in tackles, quickly track back by using my speed, block shots, and I am able to predict passes to intercept them. Offensively, I make overlapping runs forward, cross the ball into the box, and can play through the midfield to switch the point of attack.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a scholar athlete. I’m also a leader both on and off the field to my team. I serve as co-captain of my ECNL team and encourage my teammates to perform to the best of their ability while maintaining positive and honest communication with them. My mentality is to lead by example. I work hard at everything that I do in order to become the best version of myself as both a student and an athlete.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m currently involved in WSB (a leadership class at my high school, which aims to make the school a fun place for everyone). I have also participated and volunteered at Rise Soccer Training and soccer camps for youths. I have received Academic Excellence with Distinction Awards for maintaining a 4.0+ GPA all throughout High School.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership skills by serving as a role model for my teammates. As co-captain, I take initiative in explaining drills to my teammates, leading warm-ups and stretches. I've developed teamwork by working towards common goals with my teammates. I enjoy volunteering for community service programs because I teach youth about the importance of being courageous, creative and dependable.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A significant challenge that I faced was overcoming my father passing away. 

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to make a difference both on campus and in my community. I am looking for a college where I can expand my horizon of knowledge and pursue my love of soccer. Both are very important to me.

The Legends standout has position flexibility and it showed on Saturday as she popped up all over the place. Walter had a stellar summer with her club team and she continued that over the weekend at the Prep Soccer event.
