Expert Analysis
Roshelle Gobin | Prep Soccer Scout
Barson stood out today for her communication and the direction she brought to the back line. She demonstrated patience, holding the ball when necessary and showing the ability to turn out of traffic. Additionally, she played with a level of confidence that allowed her to get creative with her footwork in the defensive third. Furthermore, her constant off-the-ball movement and alertness made her a reliable option for her teammates throughout the match. Barson’s composure and awareness anchored the defense and set the tone from the back.
