Taft was one of the stars of ECNL Florida last season. The versatile LV Heat Surf player has yet to make a verbal commitment. She is one of four on Team East from the 2027 class who has not committed heading into the game. I would expect that to change in the near future. She’s a five-foot-seven center back who can do it all. She’s excellent on the ball and can beat the press off the dribble. She plays with her head up and does well progressing up the field with the ball at her feet while still keeping an eye on her teammates runs off the ball to play a slip pass to open up chances for her team. She’s had previous experience playing other positions and can adapt to any role needed. She’s raised her level this season and helped her team to sixth place in the standings in the Southwest Conference, which is club best heading into 2026.
Taft has the physical profile, soccer smarts, and competitive drive to be a key player at the college level. She should shine in this all-star game.
