About Dwayne

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a fast player who prioritizes communication and movement off the ball. My one on one technical skills would possibly be my weakness however my knowledge of the game helps me make good passes. I would like to say I’m a more selfless player that tries to distribute and create chances while continuing to encourage and keep the heads of my teammates up.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very mentally determined person. I am the put your head down and keep work type of guy. I am very competitive and a perfectionist so I get passionate and emotional at points; however, my maturity is high enough for me to keep it in until I’m off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received awards for my academic achievements however at the moment I am only in one club (Future Business Leaders of America)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was previously the quiet guy who just went along with everything however my confidence to speak up and lead is growing. I love helping and hearing others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My main challenges that I face are most likely mental struggles so to my perfectionism. I tend to be hard on myself and allow things to overwhelm me easily.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that I can future my education for sports administration because that is my off the field plan of action. Also, I would love to play sports in college, and especially somewhere where I can be surrounded by talent that just pushes me to be better everyday. I’d rather not be gifted playing time just simply because the team may not be the best.
