The son of LA Galaxy’s head coach Greg, Vanney showcased great promise playing as an attacking midfielder. He had a lot of talent and players of different profiles around him and knew exactly how to work with each of them, creating good chances in combination plays or simply by reacting well to their movement. He was very intelligent to occupy the space often vacated by left winger Mathis Albert and found himself in good spots. A good passer, Vanney can also finish from distance with power and precision, becoming an additional offensive threat for his team.

The Vanney twins have been a bright spot in the LA Galaxy MLS Next midfield this season. They two are technical players that compliment each other well. Dylan is confident and comfortable on the ball. He operates through the center of the pitch. He is capable of playing out from pressure and breaking lines with his passing. Midfield teammate Mason Dimitrijevic Mason Dimitrijevic 6'0" | M TUSTIN CONNECT | 2026 State CA is another 2026 to watch from this class. The defensive midfielder is on the radar for the spring after some strong performances at the end of 2022.
