About Eliana

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Extremely communicative, strong ability to see the field and observe what space is open around me, and aggresive when needed but smart

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very positive person. I am known for being the person who hypes everyone up on gameday. I am a leader on and off the field with my loud voice. I can be a little shy when first meeting someone, but once I get to know them, I become more comfortable and my full personality shows. My family, friends, and teammates describe me as someone compassionate, supportive, and has a good sense of humor.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

-MiniThon (Helps Raise Awareness for Cancer) -Best Buddies (an organization that creates friendships and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities) -YPAR (Youth Participatory Action Research - Builds Leadership Skills) -BBYO (B'nai B'rith Youth Organization) I recently helped my sister start a food drive for Pediatric Cancer at Lehigh Valley Health Network

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was recently recognized as a strong and potential leader, invited to join Youth Participatory Action Research. As a Holding Midfielder, I am often a leader on the field to help open up space around me and find movement off the ball. In 2024, I lost a friend of mine to blood cancer. To remember him, we have done 5Ks for cancer. Recently, my sister and I did a food drive for children with cancer.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

For the past 2 years, I have struggled with ankle injuries. I have sprained my left ankle 5 times and my right ankle 3 times. After the 24-25 high school season, I suffered from a major calf injury caused by my weak ankles. I began doing physical therapy, and after 2 months, I graduated from PT. In January 25', I tore 3 ligaments in my left ankle, which caused me to be out of soccer for 2 months.

What type of college are you looking for?

An equally strong academic and athletic school, somewhere in the range of New York to Florida (North to South), and farthest out west would be Arizona. Hopefully, somewhere I can study Sports Marketing, Sports Journalism, or Sports Design Media!
