Energy is the key to Ella’s success. When the ball is around her, special things happen. This multi tool athlete can beat you in so many ways. 1v1, crosses, shots from distance, or her edge speed. As they say, speed kills and Ella has a long list of offenses. Ella’s intelligence to transition from attacking to stopping counter attacks in her own attacking third is impressive. Teams struggle to move play away from her because of the pressure she puts on defenses. That is only successful because of her energy and non-stop motor. Coates is a solid lock to be an elite talent in college. She still has 1.5 ECNL seasons and a HS season to continue to show why she is the top ranked uncommitted forward in the 2026 class per Prep Soccer. Don’t miss on this one!
