About Ellie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with a composed physical style. I was born in build-from-the-back high field IQ play. I’m a sharp passer that has speed and strong tackles. I’ve played CB most of my career but also play RB and run the field more. State Champ Club Captain 3 years running Player of the Week (3X) Team of the Week (7X) 5A Women's Soccer All-District Academic 2024 (freshman year) Honor Roll

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I maintain a steady, positive and uplifting style. I don’t complain about calls and lead by example or by communication as necessary. Jesus. He is my savior and gives me strength, hope and peace. I love the quote, “Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.”

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m a member of my church youth group. I babysit children and pets. I have received honor roll recognition every year in school as a 4.0 student.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a team captain, by team vote, for the last 3 years, I believe my leadership is highlighted. I also believe I was chosen for captain because I am the ultimate team player. I prefer to win together than achieve personally.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have had Type 1 Diabetes since I was 12. This is a challenge I face each hour of every day. I need to plan, regulate and take action to even show up at my best in practice or a match. This has made me an even better athlete I believe.

What type of college are you looking for?

I prefer a school with a good foundation. I’m not afraid of big or small schools as long as the campus has a positive community. I prefer a Christian foundation but it’s not necessary.

George is with the SA City SC G09 team that will play against West Side Alliance RL G10, Challenge SC G08 and NM Rapids G10 in Round Rock. Standing at 5’9″, she appears mostly in central defense, offering her team a strong presence in the backline, but can also feature at right back. George makes the most of her physical tools, denying opponents service when they’re around and inside the penalty box and keeping them under constant pressure when dragged to defend higher up on the field. She’s also very good in the air, dominating the penalty box and stepping up to clear long passes with her head.
