The midfielder moved well to avoid the pressure of Sting Austin’s defender and did a very good job of finding teammates in dangerous spots with her passing. Morgan was also intelligent to play quickly when she had space, igniting some quick transition plays that resulted in finishes. She made some smart runs into the penalty box, appearing there on some occasions to finish chances, and spent part of the second half playing in a deeper position (some of it at center back) and strengthening the team’s buildup.
