Rubio plays at Beach FC and plays at El Segundo High School. She is incredibly smooth and seems to just glide when on the ball, doing so with tremendous speed as well. She moves the ball well, and then continues on. She does not just leave her forwards unsupported, as she finds space to run to and it can lead to goal-scoring opportunities. She is precise with her passes, she has great vision and accuracy and displays very good technical skill.

Rubio impressed me with her play against San Juan. She was a high energy midfielder who provided the right play consistently. She is skillful on the ball and an excellent passer. She had great recognition of when she had time on the ball to force the defense to step to her and open up opportunities for her teammates. Rubio looks to be a top 2028 from California.
