After seeing more footage of Smith play, I feel like my original assessment was pretty close, but I saw some other things I really liked. I like how quickly she comes for the ball, and I like how bold, brave and physical she is in fighting for positioning in her box. She does a good job of getting big when she’s in 1v1 situations as she can deny attackers in just about any situation. She’s a very athletic and quick keeper who shows good reactions, she’s smart and she understands the nuance of the position.
