How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe my style as an attacking fullback who’s very involved in both phases of the game. I like to play aggressively, make overlapping and underlapping runs, combine quickly with teammates through 1-2s, and create chances with crosses while also looking to score myself. Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’d describe my mentality as competitive, hardworking, and confident. I’m very team oriented and always look to bring energy and intensity to the game. I stay composed under pressure, constantly communicate with my teammates, and always look for ways to improve. No matter the situation, I try to play with passion, discipline, and a winning mindset.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

As of right now I am involved with the San Fransisco glens. I haven't received any rewards but I have been invited to train and be apart of the Guatemalan national team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through soccer by learning how to communicate, support my teammates, and stay positive in difficult moments. Playing at a high level has also taught me discipline, responsibility, and the importance of hard work on and off the field. Having learned all of this it has helped me to gain the captain role at my club as of right now.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One huge challenge I've faced this year was being dropped from the first team to the second team. Even though this hurt and set me back a lot, I took this as motivation to show that I am a great player. With this I was able to bag 16 Goals and assist in the MLS next Academy division and has helped me get some looks from other team. One of those teams being St. Louis academy in Missouri.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college close to home in the Bay Area where I can continue developing both academically and athletically. Schools like University of California, Berkeley and San Jose State University interest me because they offer strong academics, a competitive environment, and the opportunity to stay connected to my family and community while continuing my soccer career.
