Being the youngest of three I was always trying to keep up. When I would come in crying that my older brother wasn’t being fair my mom would tell me he was making me a better athlete. I didn’t realize it at the time but she was right!
What position(s) do you play? What do you view as your strengths?
I’m a goalkeeper who loves to play field when I have the chance. Playing for my town team recently has added the fun back to the game. In just three games I’ve had two shut outs as a keeper and as a field player I’ve had two assists and a goal! I recently switched clubs to play more competitively. Until recently I always played field and goal so I have good footskills to carry the ball when needed
What type of school are you looking for?
First and foremost, I am looking for good academics with good career guidance and prep. As an Irish soccer player, I have a unique opportunity, if I work hard enough, to one day play in the World Cup. I’d like to find a team that can help push me toward that goal as well as form strong friendships. I’d like to find a team that balances driven competitiveness with support for one another and fun!
What are your interests outside of Soccer?
I love my dogs! I also like just hanging out with my close group of friends shopping, watching movies or going to the beach. I enjoy gardening with my mom specifically learning a lot and trying to grow more native plants and flowers.
Closing Statement
I’ve been fortunate to have coaches, trainers, teachers and especially my parents who have always believed in me. Their support helps drive me to always do better and try harder.
