Lavender is a defender on the Real Colorado 09 MLS Next team. He can play in the center of the defense or out wide – although I’ve mainly seen him in the center. He’s an impactful and important player for his club team. He covers up mistakes along the defense with his pace and athleticism. He is also the type of center back who likes to progress the ball on the dribble into the attack. He’s skillful and creates chances when he joins the attack. He picks his spots well when he gets on the run forward. His passing is another strong point of his game. He has recently contributed a couple of assists for his side with his accurate passes over the top of the opposing defense. Lavender has big-time potential from the 2027 class.
