Combines sudden speed with an exceptional first touch, thriving in the tightest, most confined spaces. Every defender keys on him, yet no one can stop him once the ball reaches his feet. Moreover, he attacks every 50–50 ball first, consistently taking smart angles to cut off opponents, win possession and immediately trigger the attack. In possession, he elevates those around him. He sets up teammates with well-paced, often slick passes that arrive exactly when and where they’re ready to play. At the same time, he pursues the ball with relentless ferocity, making his work rate as impressive as his skill. Few players in the state match his dynamism with the ball at his feet. Equally important, his defensive contributions deserve significant recognition. Overall, he’s the most technical and highly skilled player I’ve seen all year and was named Class 5A Player of the Year and First Team All State.
